2019, 2020, & 2021

 Miss Louisiana Crawfish Queen

Katie Bigner

Hello everyone! My name is Katie Bigner, and I am your 2019, 2020, & 2021 Louisiana Crawfish Festival Queen. I am the 22 year old daughter of Cliff and Erin Bigner. I was born and raised in St. Bernard, and I am currently residing in Lafayette, Louisiana for school. I attend the University of Louisiana Lafayette, and will be graduating this upcoming May in General Studies with a focus on Behavioral Science. I plan to get my teaching certification following graduation to become an Early Childhood Education teacher. Besides traveling and work, my hobbies include listening to podcasts, art, and relaxing with my friends and family. I also help out at St. Marys Church in Lafayette with their Edge team. The Louisiana Crawfish Foundation and Festival hold a special place in my heart, and to be able to represent this year is a dream come true. My favorite part of the festival is the meaning behind it, which is helping St. Bernard develop and thrive every year. I am truly humbled and excited to be able to attend the festival this year as the Crawfish Queen, and I hope everyone can make it out to enjoy the weekend with us March 26th-29th!

Kristin Nash

I am Kristin Nash, and I am honored to be your 2019, 2020, & 2021 Teen Crawfish Queen. My parents are Kipp and Kim Nash. We have a family-owned business, A-Complete Home Inspection Services, for twenty years. My family was born and raised in St. Bernard. In 2001, we relocated to Plaquemines Parish. I’m sixteen years old and a sophomore in high school. I am also homeschooled. During my spare time, I enjoy going to Shantel’s Dance Academy as a competitive dancer. I also sing at Amber’s Singing Academy. I have a servant’s heart. I am involved in an organization called Helping Hands through my church, and we bring food to the needy. Also, I sing on my church’s youth worship team. My goal in life is to change other people’s lives for the better. My favorite food is of course crawfish, or any other seafood. I am having a blast traveling across Louisiana to all the
fairs and festivals representing The LA Crawfish Festival.
