Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation Fights Addictions Crisis in St. Bernard Parish

This past year, the Louisiana Crawfish Fest Foundation, Knights of Columbus, and St. Bernard Parish Sheriff Jimmy Pohlmann were approached by Troy Duhon, founder of Giving Hope Foundation, to sponsor a cottage at the Giving Hope Retreat Center through New Orleans Mission. This cottage is dedicated to St. Bernard Residents EXCLUSIVELY, which offers a variety of services and serve many individuals; however, their main focus is Addiction Treatment. This free service has a high success rate that strives through Faith. There is no expiration of time spent at this facility to get better. The facility is structured to help rehabilitate and resolve the underlying issues behind an individual's addiction.
